Message to newcomers:

My recommendation for new people entering the “show circuit” is to try and create a total package. To do this, one must not place too much emphasis on one aspect of their car. You must decide on a theme and carry it throughout the entire car. I feel that it is important to give both the spectators and judges several focal points throughout the whole car. Give them something that’s appealing to the eye. This can be accomplished through something as simple as taking the time to create a display for your car. A display both draws attention to the car and helps to tell a story of how committed you are to your hobby.

After drawing the crowd in with your display, make them want more. To pull them in closer you must have several components. Performance, cleanliness, a complete stereo system, and attention to detail. Does this mean that if you meet most of these criteria you’ll stand out? Not necessarily, you need to make sure that you put your own unique spin on things. Dress it up a little bit differently. Remember, your vehicle should be a reflection of yourself.
