Me:
It’s no surprise that my passion for cars stems from
my father, who is a mechanic with over 30 years of experience.
Cars have always been a centerpiece in my childhood –
whether I was wrenching in the garage, cheering on my dad
at local track, or hanging out at Battle of the Imports at
LACR. I originally purchased my Scion tC to be a mildly modified
daily driver, but it soon became much more than that. In mid-2006,
Teske Design approached me with the goal of taking “Her
tC” from stock to shock by SEMA in late October. Taking
a second full-time job in order to help fund the project,
late nights and weekends were devoted to the project. We debuted
the car at the SEMA Show in 2006 and “Her tC”
was received with rave reviews. Making the rounds in the west
coast show circuit, a trophy collection soon began to grow
– including multiple Hot Import Night wins in Pomona,
San Diego and the crowning achievement of Best of Show in
Seattle. In addition to over 35 trophies in 12 months, the
car has also been featured in Super Street, Performance Auto
& Sound, and French tuner mag, Modify. Although the tC
is now retired from competition, I am currently the Marketing
& Events Coordinator at Teske Design and we look forward
to beginning work on future projects and building on the momentum
that the tC has provided. When I’m not working, I enjoy
reading, hanging out at the beach, traveling, getting pedicures
and meeting awesome new people.
